Sony ericsson’s SATIO IDOU vs Samsung’s OMNIA HD

Sony Ericsson and Samsung, two companies competing to conquer the mobile market have released two handsets with mindblowing features.

       The     SATIO IDOU BY SONY ERICSSON  AND  OMNIA HD BY SAMSUNG.

Both the products have marvellous features.Both the premium phones belong to the same price range.Now which is good option for you, when you are on a budget of Rs.30,000-40,000?Let us compare them.

OPERATING SYSTEM:

The sony ericcson satio features a Symbian Series 60, 5th edition operating system, while the Smsung omnia features a Symbian OS v9.4 Series 60 rel. 5 operating system.Both of them are viable symbian os editions.

Both the phones support both 2G as well as 3G networks.

                  Coming to DISPLAY the satio, features a 3.5 inch autorotating touch screen while omnia has a little bigger 3.7 inch screen.The satio features a 12.1 MEGAPIXEL AUTOFOCUS CAMERA while the omnia has an 8 MEGAPIXEL AUTOFOCUS CAMERA . Both the cameras feature touch focus and smile and blink detection functions.GPS, Radio,GPRS,EDGE,Blue tooth , Music player are common features in both the phones.In terms of styling both the phones are neatly designed, but satio appears a little better than it’s opponent.

                  The omnia is also available as Samsung I8910 HD Gold Edition with 24K gold-plated body if you have some extra bucks to pay.

Both the phones are made up of  ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz processors.The satio is a bit lighter in weight compared to omnia.The satio weighs 126 grams while the omnia weighs 148 grams.

Both the phones almost possess the same features but the SATIO has a little bit of advantage over OMNIA in terms of styling,camera and technology.Satio may be a better option for people who have the hobbies of photography and who needs lot of stuff from their mobile.
