images2Be wise while buying Gold Items!!! Indians are obsessed with gold from ancient times we can say India is the ancient producer of gold and probably has most of the worlds gold while Indian is economy is growing so the price of gold is sky rocketing it is not wrong if we say gold price is increasing in the world because of India and its huge consumer base for gold….

Though the jewelery is for enhancing the look and prestige of the wearer Jewelery is very expensive and need to be purchased wisely and it should be simple and appealing there are many types of jewelery available like Modern, Antique, Solid, Hollow, Light, Mughal, Enamel, Stone,Plain Etc the choice may be anything but make sure some simple aspects before buying gold ornaments…images1

1) before buying Ornaments Make sure what you want to buy like individual items such as ring, bangles, necklace etc or complete which contains all the latter items

2) Check the ornament or jewelery you have selected for quality if it is diamond or gems check for 4 “C”(Color,Cut,Clarity and Carat weight)

3) Check the Gold for its purity which is measured in carats, as pure gold cannot be made into jewels as it is smooth and cannot withstand the design alloy is mixed with it more the alloy mixed less precious is your gold though 22 carat is standard

Symbion-An Easy way to Learn on own

imagesAt Last after several tries my First successful SIS file for hello world is created in Symbian :) yes like every software engineer who always be learning new languages and technology recently i was put into the symbian a new technology for me as well as my company…

though our company develop products for BREW and J2ME mobile devices our company is thinking to port all its innovative products to symbian mobiles as the market is huge for these kind of devices as a initial step my project manager assigned me to learn the new technology since there is no seniors and experienced personnel in this domain i started downloading all the SDKs,IDE’s and tutorial available on the net and started analyzing and writing small programs it is weird that i am the only person in the company who is working on symbian as of now (One Men Army ;) …), its already 13 days now i just learned the basic architecture of symbian and few API’s….

For the beginners symbian is like a iron nut until we get basic right the language is very difficult to crack and confusing and the sdk’s and help are not upto the mark as i previously had saw BREW API’s help file which is very well organized the API’s reference in symbian is very annoying:( any way i started falling in love with symbian lets see how it goes ;) ….. if any symbian masters reading this post please suggest me some good books and useful resources..

Search Images by comparing the File or Image Links

imagesHave you ever thought that you can search pictures or images on internet by uploading the image file or giving the url of the picture? all that most of us know is searching in Google or other search engine by typing the words or keywords but many don’t know there exist a “Image Search Engine” called TinEye which search the image on the net by taking image as input from the computer or by searching and comparing image using URL in photo bucket, Picasa etc see the below pic, i searched desktop screen shot of the computer when i uploaded the file and in TinEye the results was amazing i did not expect such a close results
Images uploaded or requested using are not added to the search index, there is a cool plugin for Firefox and IE (internet explorer) which allows user to search image by simply right clicking on the image…

I recently played with TinEye believe it has awesome image recognition rate i downloaded a image from the net renamed it opened it in the paint edited it very much and cut the portion of the image and re sized it with pixresizer and believe me the image was modified almost 50% but when i uploaded the file and searched on the TinEye i was astonished to see the result contained the link of the original image i downloaded and several other links which had same image.

TinEye accepts most of the image formats and images above 100pixels in dimension below 100 pixels are not accepted and 1MB is the limit on the file size which can be uploaded and TinEye suggests not to upload watermarked images as the TinEye search watermark and not image itself.

If you register and login in TinEye there is a real advantage as all your searched result link will be permanently saved so that you can have it as the reference in future and whats more if you do not find the image today for whatever reason don’t worry comeback in few more days the TinEye is crawling the images on the web and adding it to the index who knows you might find it tommorow

The Speed of Light

sExceeding the speed of light may not be impossible according to claims reported by New Scientist. The debate surrounds an experiment by Günter Nimtz and Alfons Stahlhofen of the University of Koblenz, Germany, in which photons were propelled faster than the speed of light in a process known as quantum tunnelling. But does this really defy the 186,000 miles per second (300,000 kps) speed limit arising from Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity? In the weird world of quantum mechanics, where very little makes sense, it seems that it’s down to a matter of interpretation.

The popular interpretation might lead to the conclusion that the ultimate cosmic speed limit has been broken, but as explained by Alan Boyle at Cosmic Log, it’s more a question of how these laws are conceived given that the weird behavior of quantum particles tend to elicit loopholes in the Theory of Relativity. Part of this problem lies in the fact that light waves are mass less and therefore don’t fit within the parameters of the 186,000 miles per second rule.

Like many aspects of quantum mechanics it just shouldn’t happen (take for example the ability of certain sub-atomic particles to react to interference with its quantum “partner” even when they are separated by large distances) but in a world full of “known unknows”, things aren’t about to get any simpler.

Getting of Adsense account- A Bird’s View

Getting adsense account is not as easy as it was once before, 2 years ago any one with a blogspot blog with few posts was getting account just like that within 8hours, but now a days google has set a strict standards on whom it should take it as its publishers ensuring that google adwords advertisers get high quality publishers, reason to write this post is recently few of my colleagues and friends could not get adsense account despite of several tries below are few tips on how to get your adsense application approved:

1. Don’t hurry in applying for adsense account this is common mistake people tend to make by starting a blog posting one or two articles and apply for account, being hurry will never get your app approved remember first impression is best impression.

2. Never Start Blog and apply for adsense just because your friend or colleague is getting good bucks out of blogging, start blog only if you really interested wanted to share your experince and knowledge(few of my friends got adsense account and started blogging and they stopped after realizing its not a piece of cake).

3. Post quality and original content never copy from other websites, copying simply to increase your content doing so your adsense application never get approved

4. Never apply through secondary funny email ids like tecgeek@yahoo.com, codeking@gmail.com etc let email id be your primary email id with your first or last name.

5. Though there is a myth buying a domain will get your adsense account approved its false many of my friends blogspot blog got approved while blog with custom domain failed to get.

6. If your adsense application is rejected dont re-apply at once because the result will be the same, wait for a month or two, in mean while try to post original quality content and increase your traffic.

7. Make sure that your website complies to Adsense terms of service… sites with adult content, and links to piracy content such as mp3 and video, cracks and keygens has bleak chances of getting approved.

8. There are some people who promise to get you adsense account for small fees and tell that they help you to optimize and redesign your blog/website never fall into and entertain these kinda black hat techniques.

One of my friend got his adsense account approved by following some of above techinques feel free to add few more tips if you know.

Thanks

Nature of contract

contractAn agreement which creats legal obligation is a contract. The oblilgation is an undertaking to do or abstain from doing doing some definite act or acts.  Section 2(h) of the Indian contract define”An agreement enforceable by law is a contract.” Thus a contract consists of the two elements:1.an agreement 2.the agreement must be enforceable by law. The term agreement is defined in section 2(e) of the Indian Contract Act Every promise and every set of promise, forming consideration for each other,us an agreement.

However, there are some agreements which are not enforceable in a law court. Such agreements do not give rise to contractual obligations and are not contracts.  An agreement of purely social or domestic nature is not a contract.

Valied Contract:

According to section 10 of the Act lay down the essentials of a valild contract. According to the section,”All agreemenrts are contracts if they are made by the free consent of the partiescompetent to contract, for a lawful consideration and with a lawful object, and are not hereby expressly declered to be void”. Contracts are agreements, but all agreements need not be contracts. The term agreement is thus much wider than the term contract.

An agreement becomes enforceable by law when it fulfils certain conditions. These conditions, which may be called the essential elements of a contract, are:

1. Offer and Acceptance
2. Intention to create legal relations.
3. Lawful Consideration
4. Capacity of parties
5. Free and genuine consent
6. Lawful object
7. Agreement not declared void
8. Certainty and possibility of performance
9. Legal formalities.

The Legal Contract is invalid, if the above conditions are not fulfilled.

APPROACH TO THE INTERVIEW

interviewGetting through the written examination and receving the interview call is not winning half the battle as some people are prone to think.  An interview is completely unpredictable. One can never tell what turn it will take. Preparing for an inerview has its own problem. Infact preparation may besaid to be impossible. For one thing, questions are totally unpredictable. And for another ones own reactions and behaviour are hardto guarantee beforehand.

The questions usually asked are of avery general nature related to Indian History, Current Events, personal tastes and hobbies. They can all be met satisfactory enough. But during an interview a canididate may often slip up with a hasty, unthoughtful response. A candidate must have sincerity and honesty and candidate may, absolutely mistakenly, in order to create an impression, profess attitudes and opinions not really his own.  But these can easily be perceived and even ridiculed by members of the Boardwith disastrous results.

The ignorance is not a shameful thing. Guessing at what one does not know is unperdonable. A straight-forward admission of does not harm. I myself, confessedly, had to return an apologetic “I’m afraid I don’t know, sir,”many times. Some candidates find it unnecessary to prepare for the interviewat all apart from reading daily newspapers as a matter of routine. All candidates do not feel so wellequpped and realize that need to cultivate the above qualities.

Here freinds can help immensely by examining a candidate in the manner of interview boards. This method may be considered ridiculous or useless, but it undoubtedly helps many timid or shy people to acquire at least a semblance of assurance. Thus a candidate is given the opportunity to habituate himself to being questioned closely. He becomes familiar with his shortcomings and can guard against them better.

My own interview was not of a very exciting nature. The questions were very general, relating to Gandian thought, the National movement, Religion, my favourite authors and the like. Somewhere easy, some difficult and some confusing. I had often to deny all knowledge, sometimes to beg for clarification, and admittedly I stumbled here and there. But though I could not soar with optimism, there was nothing to despair of either. The interview remain on an even keel throughout, with a few flashes of humour to lighten the atmosphere and though not lenient the board was friendly and encouraging.
All in all, it was an experience.

Bobby Jindal-A Rising Star

Will_Next_President_of_United_States_be__JindalWho will be the next president in 2012 ? though there are strong predictions that Bobby Jindal aka piyush Jindal a Indian-American origin will be the next US presidential nominee and this is the hot topic on the internet on popular blogs, website and many forums….

Recently william kristol Newyork times columnist and commentator wrote in his article about Bobby Jindal as a Potential Vice-Presidential nominee for the republican party for this November presidential elections….

Piyush Jindal aka bobby jindal was born on 10th Jun 1971 in baton rouge, Lousiana to the Amar and Raj Jindal who was immigrated to US from Khanpura India in 1970 though his name is piyush jindal legally he renamed himself “bobby” influenced by the Character “Bobby Brady” watching television series at the age of four though jindal was born and raised hindu he converted to christian catholic when he was in high school and Jindal married to supriya jolly in 1996 and have three children Selia Elizabeth, shaan Robert and Slade Ryan…

Though there are many people who says that jindal would be the next person to be nominated for the next presidential elections and there are another set of people who critisizes it giving number of reasons what ever it is Jindal is considered as the rising star of the repulican party and is considered to be the dynamic and charismatic person who could lead the party in 2012 and also chariman of national republican congressional committee has invited to deliver the key note address at fundraising dinner scheduled to be held on march 24 in washington and said “Bobby is rising star and is a part of new generation of leadership in our party”…

Like obama i think bobby jindal will not be looped into religious contraversy as he converted to chrisitianity in his school days and days are not so far where we could see person from indian origin/decent as the president of united states….. guys comments are welcome!!!

Law and its need

imagesLaw, as it is,  is the command of the sovereign. Law in its legal sense, as distinguished from other uses of the term, means those principles and rules that govern and regulate social conduct and the observance of which can be enforced in courts. ”Law is that portion of the established habit and thought of mankind which has gained distinct and formal recognition in the shape of uniform rules backed by the authority and power of the Government”. Law is the rule of externalhuman action enforced by the sovereign political authority. The state makes law. Violation of state law involves a penalty which is enforced by the Government through the sovereign power of the state. Whatever is not enforceable is not law. Laws of State are applicable to all without exception in identical circumstances.

It is neither desirable nor feasible to control all kinds of activities of people through a uniform set of rules and principles. Civilised societies, therefore, provide and enforce different sets of rules and guiding principles for different kinds of social behaviour.
Therefore, there are several branches of law- Civil law, Constitutionnal law, International law, Industrial and Mercantile law.

Need for Law:

The existence of law is necessary for maintaining of peace and order in the society. In the absence of law, no person will recognise the rights of others. Life cannot be lived peace-fully and business cannot be carried out smoothly without law to regulate the conduct of people and to protect their property and also of the most ruthless, in the absence of law. Take the example of game. A game cannot be played satisfactorily without rules to govern the players.

As a human being, every person comes into contact with others in different capacities; for instances, with sellers as a buyer, with companies as a shareholder, with traders as a purchaser of things, with insurers as assured, with government as a taxpayer, citizen or employee etc. In all such dealings, a person is expected to observe certain sets of rules which govern each other. It follows that some knowledge of law is necessary for every person. As a matter of fact, an individual is confronted, almost daily, with situations that demand certain knowledge of law, in the absence of which he may suffer on account of legal actions against him. The term ‘Law’ denotes rules and principles either enforced by an authority or self-imposed by the members of a society to control and regulate people’s behaviour with a view to securing justice, peaceful life and social security.
