Performance:

The Hyundai Verna Transform commits to deliver unmatched power and outstanding performance with its refined and powerful engine technologies. Equipped with a choice of both petrol and diesel engine, it is available in two petrol variants and three diesel variants.

The two petrol variants VTVT and SX VTVT are driven by a powerful 1.6-litre engine associated with variable timing valve train technology (VTVT). This high-performance engine churns out 110 bhp and helps save fuel at low rpm and becomes highly responsive at high rpm. The VTVT technology is designed to improve fuel efficiency of the car and provide optimized performance over a variety of driving conditions.

The petrol engine puts out 103.2PS @ 5500rpm and 146 Nm of torque that peaks at 3000rpm and finds way into the Verna Transform 1.6 VTVT and 1.6 SX VTVT. The diesel unit makes 110PS @ 4000rpm and 236Nm between 1900 and 2750rpm and is available in three variants – 1.5 CRDi VGT, 1.5 SX CRDi VGT & 1.5 SX VGT (AT). While both petrol variants and the first two mentioned diesel variants are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.5 SX VGT (AT) is coupled to a 4-speed auto’box .

Interior and Exterior, Styling and Comfort:

The actual modifications and changes in the Verna Transform are very well noticed in the build and styling. The new car retains the old contemporary European looks but surpasses the former with significant design revisions, luxurious interiors, and improved exterior features.

The electrically adjustable ORVM with LED side repeaters add class and convenience to the interiors of the new Verna Transform. The new sedan spells improved definitions of elegance, luxury, and functionality. In the interior, the Verna Transform gets 2-DIN audio system with remote control. The new instrument cluster with silver surround dials and blue LED illumination makes it easier to read important information.

Adding ride comfort to the driver and passengers is the new fully automatic temperature control featured in the Verna Transform.Hyundai has always focused on safety and security aspects of their car. The Verna Transform is also equipped with safety features such as height adjustable seat belts, anti lock brakes (ABS) and EBD. The Hyundai Verna Transform comes with collapsible steering column, central locking system, child proof rear door locks, front fog lamps, and clutch lock system. It also comes with keyless entry and anti-lock brakes.

HTC has released it’s new Android phone “Tattoo“. Here’s a review of the phone along with it’s features and specifications.HTC_Tattoo

The special and most significant feature of the handset is

Coming to it’s specifications the phone supports both 2G and 3G networks. Tattoo features a 3.15MP auto-focus Camera. It also features an auto-rotating 2.8″ touch screen. EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth, USB, Memory card slot, GPS, Java, Radio, Music Player are Some of the common features of the phone.

What is Hopenhagen?

Hopenhagen is a movement generated by the International Advertising Association representing the global advertising indutry in support of the United Nations.

         Hopenhagen has set it’s aim to inspire hopes in people on the grounds of saving the earth.It’s mainly based on the summit i.e.,going to take place in Copenhagen on December 7th with the leaders of about 193 countries and with the objective to save the earth.pic23

The mission of the Hopenhagen programme is to connect every person, every city, and every nation to Copenhagen. To give everyone hope, and a platform from which to act. To create a grassroots movement that’s powerful enough to influence change.

The programme is asking the people to join them by signing a petition to save the earth. And it has emphasised a motto “WHEN PEOPLE LEAD LEADERS FOLLOW” .

The Hopenhagen Passport:

A Facebook application named “The Hopenhagen Passport” has been created, in which people can earn stamps by spreading the news about the programme to their freinds. A person who earns 2000 points will be promoted to the position of ambassdor. Similarly there are certain sub-ordinate positions such as envoy and delegate.

The programme also uses twitter,Facebook and you tube.

It inspires it’s members(citizens) to take certain steps to reduce the effects of pollution on our blue planet.The users can share their views on how to save the Earth.

Till now more than 500,000 users are registered in this programme.

       The     SATIO IDOU BY SONY ERICSSON  AND  OMNIA HD BY SAMSUNG.

Both the products have marvellous features.Both the premium phones belong to the same price range.Now which is good option for you, when you are on a budget of Rs.30,000-40,000?Let us compare them.

OPERATING SYSTEM:

The sony ericcson satio features a Symbian Series 60, 5th edition operating system, while the Smsung omnia features a Symbian OS v9.4 Series 60 rel. 5 operating system.Both of them are viable symbian os editions.

Both the phones support both 2G as well as 3G networks.

                  Coming to DISPLAY the satio, features a 3.5 inch autorotating touch screen while omnia has a little bigger 3.7 inch screen.The satio features a 12.1 MEGAPIXEL AUTOFOCUS CAMERA while the omnia has an 8 MEGAPIXEL AUTOFOCUS CAMERA . Unbranded, IMEI-less Chinese handsets in India went offline two days ago after mobile operators decided to block access to all such handsets to their networks. This was done following a DoT (Department of Telecommunications) directive.

If you’re one amongst the estimated 25 million users with such phones and wish to have the phone in working condition again, (in case yours went offline as well) there is a legal way of doing it. The government has authorized some organizations to legalize your illegal handsets by assigning an approved IMEI number to it. The GII (Genuine IMEI Implant) program involves a short trip to the nearest GII outlet, paying a nominal Rs. 199 fee to have your phone legalized.

In major cities, you can visit The MobileStore outlets to get this done. You might also want to contact your operator if they have arranged for any such facilities. For those interested in The MobileStore program, all you need to do is to call 6000 63 63 to figure out the nearest outlet where your Chinese phone can get a new lease of life.

Are you getting tired easily? Bothered about physical fitness? Want to enhance your strength and stamina. Then here are some techniques which can help you to enhance your strength and stamina. Follow them and you can get great results.

After the warm-up  (No. 1), do one rep of exercise pair No. 2, then two reps, then three, then four, and then work back down to one rep. Repeat with exercise pair No. 3. Do as many rounds as you can in 15 minutes.

1. Boxer’s Punch + Dumbbell Squat

With a 5-pound dumbbell in each hand, throw 32 punches, alternating lefts and rights. Then let your arms hang loosely at your sides and place your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart. Bend at the hips and knees to lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor, and then press back up. Complete 16 squats. Repeat the sequence once.

2. Push-Up + Prone Row

Push-up: Place two six-sided dumbbells on the floor and grip them while you do a full push-up. (Lower in two seconds, push up in one.)

Prone row: In the up position of the push-up (still holding onto the dumbbells), bring your right-hand weight up to your armpit and squeeze your shoulder blade back. Lower the weight and repeat the move with your left arm. (Take one second to raise the weight and two seconds to lower it.)

 

 

 

 

 

3. Jump Squat + Curl

Jump squat: Assume a squat position as you hold dumbbells at your sides, your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart. Press through your heels to explode up quickly. Then land softly on the balls of your feet and sink back onto your heels.

Curl: After landing, let the dumbbells hang at your sides. Without moving your upper arms, curl the weights up. (Take one second to raise them and two seconds to lower.)
